Provincial Grand Master Discretionary Awards

Chatham Dockyard 8th October.

This was the first time the Freemasons had held their annual award ceremony in Chatham dockyard. The event was organised by Bill Stephney, Unit Chairman of the Chatham Royal Marine Cadets.

The Chatham Royal Marine Cadets and the Chatham Sea cadets provided the audience with a display of marching, music and drumming against the backcloth of HMS Gannett.

The Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro M Michael Bailey accompanied by the deputy Mayor and Colonel E.P.R/ Cautley CMG DL RMR, inspected the assembled cadets prior to the presentation of cheques on board HMS Gannett.
