Brenchley House Players are an Amateur Dramatic Group based in Sittingbourne.  We have worked with Valley Films on several occasions over the past few years, performing in some of their short films.  When we were asked if we would like to join them with their new “Chroma Key” filming technique we were intrigued.

We spend a great evening with improvisation of sketches on various topics in front of a huge plain  green curtain – quite a daunting thought!  When we saw the end product, after the appropriate backgrounds had been put in, we were amazed at the result.  Now we are anxious to work on some pre-rehearsed sketches using this new technique.

Below are a couple of clips from the Chromakey session, showing filming against the green screen, then with the backdrop superimposed. Note: The actors were given a rough scenario outline and then asked to improvise the dialogue and actions. Well done to them.
