As a group, we always support our local acting groups when they have a play
showing, and over the years, have also become great friends with them.
That is why when we have a script in the making, it’s great because we know
exactly who we can approach for the right part.
It always works very well and we have a lot of fun at our shoots,
particularly when showing the out-takes in our final stage! In the early days,
we found it very difficult when shooting films, when we realised that we had the
wrong actors/actresses for the parts chosen but with our experience now, we
always know who we can approach.
So if we can part with any good advice, it would be to say - get to know
where the local theatre groups perform, go along and support them and introduce
yourself.
Get to know the actors first, then the scripts will follow and a good film
will result.
